Shower Chairs

Shower Chairs, Shower Seats, Shower Stools or bath chairs are all referring to the same line of products. Shower chairs are designed to fit inside regular sized bathtubs. These chairs are for you if you have the ability to step into the tub or transfer from your wheelchair. There are two basic options available on the market today.

With Backrest

These chairs come with a backrest designed to give the user more stability while bathing. If you have limited upper body strength or simply want the added security, these chairs are for you.

Shower chairs without backrest are more commonly known as shower seats. These are exactly the same as the product described above, minus the back rest.

Shower chairs are as basic as it gets and are manufactured by about every major medical company out there. Purchasing decisions will usually come down to cost and or brand.
